Other programs include “Finishing School” for 4 months at centres in any country recognising Ayurvedic practitioners. Atreya Ayurvedic Medical College currently has collaborations with recognised institutions and organisations abroad. As of now it has tie-ups with institutes in Singapore and other European countries.
The program is so designed as part of the B.A.M.S course to help students develop life skills and other skills necessary for practitioners. These skills also include etiquette, presentability, and communication skills giving rise to an overall personality development.
Not only does the program help students gain better exposure in terms of practicing Ayurveda, abroad but also helps them identify the scope of Ayurveda in a bigger picture. This helps them to be better recognised nationally and internationally.. However, Finishing School remains optional, while one year internship that comes as part of 5 and half year B.A.M.S. course remains compulsory for every student pursuing the same.
